In today's dynamic financial landscape, discerning investors seek more than just performance - they value independence, flexibility, and personalized expertise. This is where External Asset Management (EAM) comes into play.

EAM is a model that empowers clients by placing their assets in the hands of independent, professional managers who act solely in their best interests. Unlike traditional banking relationships, EAMs are not tied to a single institution. This independence allows for:

  • Unbiased Advice: EAMs are free from internal product pressures, enabling truly client-centric solutions.

  • Flexibility: Clients enjoy tailored investment strategies that adapt to their evolving needs and market conditions.

  • Diversified Custody: Assets can be held across multiple banks, reducing counterparty risk and enhancing security.

  • Expertise and Access: EAMs often provide access to institutional-grade investment opportunities and global market insights.

External Asset Managers operate independently but collaborate closely with private banks and custodians. Here’s a simplified overview of how the model works:

  1. Client Relationship: The EAM builds a direct and long-term relationship with the client, understanding their goals, risk appetite, and preferences.

  2. Custody Arrangement: The client’s assets remain in their name at one or more custodian banks. The EAM is granted limited power of attorney to manage the assets.

  3. Investment Management: The EAM designs and executes investment strategies tailored to the client’s objectives, leveraging a wide range of products and platforms.

  4. Reporting & Transparency: Clients receive consolidated reporting across all custodians, ensuring full transparency and control.

This structure ensures that the client retains ownership and oversight while benefiting from professional, independent management.

EAM model represents the future of wealth management—one that aligns with transparency, trust, and long-term value creation.
